Nala went to her new home on November 1st and what could be better for Nala than to have found a retired Ultimate Frisbee player to adopt her. Her new dad throws a mean frisbee and Nala is a great catch. This seems like a match made in heaven for both of them!

Sometimes I think somebody slipped me a Retriever gene! I will fetch my frisbee for hours if I'm not forced to quit. But I am a German Shepherd Dog through and through. When I am out for walks with my foster family it's 20 steps forward and 30 steps back to be sure that everyone is keeping pace and in a single file line. OK, maybe I'm exaggerating about the single file line!
Sadly, my mom's financial circumstances changed drastically. Her job was outsourced to another country and then she had an accident that limited her employment options. She had to make some tough decisions. She decided to go back to school. I just don't understand why they won't let me live in the dorm with her. She raised me to be an excellent girl. I would befriend anyone who met me.
I grew up with my friend Simba, a black lab. My mom took me to the dog park, so I get along with other dogs too. I'm not an Alpha dog, but I'm no push over either. I do let my foster pals know if they get too close to my toys or my food. I have no cat experience therefore BGSR recommends a placement with no cats. I do have experience with children ages 10 and up. I love them!
I am an 8 year old spayed female and am Heartworm negative (and on preventative) and have my vaccinations. I love my soft toys, particularly my duck, my sheep, my bunny...well you get the picture; anything soft and squeaky. But I adore my frisbee! I do settle down nicely when I go in the house though..
Better get that adoption application in quick cause I'm a great catch in more ways than one!
