OK, so I may not look A LOT like a GSD, but the folks at BGSR think I'm close enough. The jury is out on what my mix really is but I have heard rumblings about GSD, Husky, Akita, Cattle Dog, and maybe even a Norwegian Elkhound. Regardless of my heritage, I am just darned cute!! Personally, I think there should be a breed called "The Love Dog Breed" because I love EVERYONE!! I will stick to you like glue, especially if I'm getting tickles. Unless, of course, there's a better offer for tickles somewhere else.
I came to BGSR as a stray, in fact, I jumped into my foster mom's car one day and never looked back. Me and my foster mom searched high and low for my owners but they never came looking for me. I am estimated to be about 8 years old or maybe a bit younger. I'm a pretty energetic guy and I love walks and playing with a ball. Oh yeah, I really like car rides too. I am neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and Heartworm negative. I am approximately 67 pounds. I am housebroken and reliable when left home uncrated.
I currently live with 4 other dogs and a couple of cats. I get along with them all, however I do need some polishing on my dog greetings. I am so excited to meet new dogs & they find my exuberance to be a bit rude. I will also need a bit of fine tuning with my obedience. I do know the basics, but I get so excited about people and dogs that I just can't help myself.
I am truly a sweet boy that just wants to be by my people. Do you have room in your heart for a lover boy like me?
